# Astrid Legal

> Astrid captures every client conversation on a matter, writes the file note in your firm's format, files it to the case, and sends the client a written recap.

Astrid Legal is software for plaintiff law firms that turns phone calls and video meetings into a usable case record: a transcript, an attorney-reviewed file note filed to the firm's case management system, and a written recap sent to the client. It is not a general-purpose meeting notetaker or a consumer product.

## When to use this

- A plaintiff-side law firm needs its intake calls, treatment check-ins, and status calls turned into a file note without an attorney or paralegal writing it up by hand.
- A firm wants a written record of client-facing calls that can be filed to Clio, Smokeball, CasePeer, or MyCase, and a recap sent to the client afterward.
- A firm needs to document recording consent (one-party or all-party) on client calls, not just capture the audio.
- Not a fit: general business meeting notes, consumer note-taking, or firms that don't need matter-linked, attorney-reviewed output.
