What we do

Astrid captures every client conversation on a matter, writes the file note in your firm's format, files it to the case, and sends the client a written recap.

Plaintiff firms run on phone calls. Intake, treatment updates, witness interviews, status check-ins, settlement conversations: most of a case's real substance happens on a call, not in a document. Astrid captures those calls, drafts the note in the firm's own format, files it to the right matter in the firm's case management system, and sends the client a written recap, so that record exists whether or not anyone had time to write it up by hand.

Who we are

Astrid is built by Astrid Labs, Inc., a small team based in Alexandria, Virginia. We work directly with plaintiff firms to build the product, which means most of what ships here comes from a specific firm hitting a specific problem, not a feature list written in the abstract.

How we work

We'd rather ship something narrow that works than something broad that mostly works. Our Security and Recording and Consent pages are both written in that spirit: what we actually do today, and where we're honest that we haven't built or earned something yet. The Changelog is the same idea applied to the product itself, a plain, dated log of what actually shipped.
