AI call notes, filed straight into Lawcus.

Astrid records and transcribes a client call, drafts the note in your firm's own format, and once an attorney approves it, files it to the matter as a Lawcus interaction, with every follow-up filed as a Lawcus task. No paralegal copying it over by hand.

What it does

Three things stop happening by hand

Lawcus already tracks your matters and contacts. Astrid closes the gap between a call actually happening and that call showing up in the matter.

Call notes become Lawcus interactions

Lawcus's closest match to a note is a logged interaction. Astrid drafts it in your firm's own format, and once an attorney approves it, it files with a link back to the recording and transcript.

Calls find their own matter

Astrid matches a finished call to the right Lawcus matter using the caller's name. Anything ambiguous queues for a one-click confirmation instead of a guess.

Follow-ups file as real Lawcus tasks

Firm and client action items caught during a call file as Lawcus tasks, due dates included, without anyone retyping them.

How it works

Connect once, from Settings

A firm administrator connects Lawcus from Settings with a one-time authorization. From there, every call moves through the same pipeline:

  • Matters can be searched for and linked directly from Astrid, live against Lawcus, never a local mirror
  • A finished call is matched automatically where possible, by client name
  • A licensed attorney reviews and approves the note before it goes anywhere
  • The interaction and its tasks file into Lawcus automatically, within a minute or two

Frequently asked questions

Before you connect Lawcus

What is Lawcus?

A cloud-based case management system built for plaintiff and personal injury firms, covering matters, contacts, and case activity in one place.

Does Astrid replace Lawcus?

No. Astrid captures and documents calls and files the result into Lawcus; it doesn't replace Lawcus's own case tracking, billing, or document management.

Does an attorney have to approve a note before it's filed to Lawcus?

Yes, always. A draft note or recap doesn't become part of the record, and doesn't get filed anywhere, until a licensed attorney reviews and approves it.

What happens if a call can't be matched to a Lawcus matter automatically?

It's queued for a one-click confirmation instead of being filed to the wrong matter or silently dropped.

Does my firm need a specific Lawcus plan to connect?

Yes. Lawcus gates its API access behind its Elit plan. A firm on a lower tier can't connect until they upgrade, whatever their Astrid plan is.
