Time from the rest of your day
Calls are only part of the work. Astrid drafts time from the email you write, the meetings on your calendar, the documents you edit, the calls on your phone system and the research you do, and puts it all on one page for you to approve.
Part of the billable hours add-on to the notetaker seat.
3 emails sent between 7:47 and 8:37. Writing time about 15 minutes.
Draft and revise motion to compel discovery responses.
Conference with carrier regarding case evaluation.
Legal research regarding sanctions for discovery violations.
Built so you can trust it
Every entry explains itself
See the emails, document or meeting an entry came from, and the arithmetic behind an estimate.
Content is not kept
Astrid reads what it needs to draft an entry and stores the details that explain it, not your mailbox or your documents.
Start in preview
A new source shows what Astrid would draft for a few days before any entry lands in your queue.
Where the time comes from
Each source is off until your firm allows it and you turn it on for yourself.
Emails you send and draft, read from the subject, people and times.
Meetings and events on your Microsoft 365 calendar.
Editing sessions on documents in your firm's Microsoft 365.
Meetings and Teams Phone calls Astrid did not record.
Call and meeting logs from your phone and video systems.
Time in Acrobat, Word, Excel and other apps on your firm's allowlist.
Time on research and court sites on the allowlist, in Chrome and Edge.
Emails you send and draft in Google Workspace.
Events and the Meet calls you attended.
Editing sessions on Docs, Sheets and other Drive files.
How it works
Grouped into units of work
A burst of emails on one thread, an editing session on one document or a block of research becomes one draft entry, not twenty.
Matched to the matter
Email participants, document names, calendar titles and research topics are matched to your matters. When the client is clear but the matter is not, you pick from that client's hourly matters.
One entry per piece of work
A meeting Astrid recorded, its calendar event and its Zoom log are one entry, not three. The strongest source wins.
Estimates stay conservative
A read email creates no time. Estimates are labelled and err low, because a high one bills a client for time not spent.
Billable hours add-on
Or $590 per timekeeper per year, billed annually (2 months free). Added to the $40 notetaker seat.
Add it for the people who bill by the hour. Staff who do not bill do not pay for it.

Answers to common questions
Can my firm admin turn this on for me?
No. Your firm allows a source, and each person turns it on for themselves. You can pause capture any time.
Is my personal browsing tracked?
No. The browser extension and the desktop app only track the sites and applications on your firm's allowlist.
Does Astrid store my email?
No. It reads the subject, people and times of messages you send and draft to draft time entries. Message bodies are not read or stored.
Can I keep private calendar events out?
Yes. Turn on "Don't sync private events" and events marked private are dropped before they are stored.
Who sees my captured activity?
Only you. Nobody else at your firm can browse your emails, pages or app usage.
