AI meeting notes for immigration firms
Eligibility, documents and interview preparation are explained on calls, often more than once. Astrid writes each call up, lists the documents the client owes and sends a plain recap.
How immigration firms use Astrid
Document collection
Exactly which documents the client needs, in a list they receive in writing.

What to expect at the interview, recorded and recapped.

The deadline and what the response needs, noted on the matter.
The calls Astrid recognizes
Astrid sorts each immigration call by type and writes the note in that type's template, set up with you during onboarding from the file notes you already write.
A first call about an immigration matter: the client’s status, goals, eligibility and options.
A call about which documents and evidence the client must gather for the application or petition.
A routine check-in with the client on where the matter stands, with no major new development.
A call preparing the client for an immigration interview or hearing.
A call about a request for evidence or notice from the agency, and how to respond before the deadline.
Billable hours
Usually flat fee, so Astrid does not draft time entries for these matters. If you bill some matters hourly, mark them and Astrid drafts time for those.
Sensitive calls
Immigration clients may share status details they would not want widely seen. Mark sensitive calls privileged to limit them to attorneys and firm administrators.
