AI call notes, filed straight into Clio Manage.
Astrid records and transcribes a client call, drafts the note in your firm's own format, and once an attorney approves it, files it to the matter in Clio Manage, with every follow-up filed as a task. No paralegal copying it over by hand.

Three things stop happening by hand
Clio Manage already holds your matters, billing, and documents. Astrid closes the gap between a call actually happening and that call showing up in the matter.
Call notes become Clio Manage notes
Astrid transcribes the call and drafts a note in your firm's own format. Once an attorney approves it, it files to the matter, with a link back to the recording and transcript.
Calls find their own matter
Astrid matches a finished call to the right Clio matter using the caller's phone number or the client's name. Anything ambiguous queues for a one-click confirmation instead of a guess.
Follow-ups file as real Clio Manage tasks
Firm and client action items caught during a call file as Clio tasks, assigned the same way a person would assign them, due dates included.
Connect once, from Settings
A firm administrator connects Clio Manage from Settings with a one-time authorization. From there, every call moves through the same pipeline:
- Matters can be searched for and linked directly from Astrid, live against Clio, never a local mirror
- A finished call is matched automatically where possible, by phone number or client name
- A licensed attorney reviews and approves the note before it goes anywhere
- The note and its tasks file into Clio Manage automatically, within a minute or two
Before you connect Clio
What is Clio?
A widely used, general-purpose legal case management system covering matters, billing, documents, and calendaring. It isn't built specifically for personal injury the way CasePeer is, but its broad adoption makes it one of the most common systems a plaintiff firm runs on.
Does Astrid replace Clio?
No. Astrid captures and documents calls and files the result into Clio; it doesn't replace Clio's own billing, document management, or calendaring.
Does an attorney have to approve a note before it's filed to Clio?
Yes, always. A draft note or recap doesn't become part of the record, and doesn't get filed anywhere, until a licensed attorney reviews and approves it.
What happens if a call can't be matched to a Clio matter automatically?
It's queued for a one-click confirmation instead of being filed to the wrong matter or silently dropped.
Is a firm's Clio data isolated from other firms using Astrid?
Yes. Every firm's calls, notes, matters, and client data are logically isolated by firm at the database layer, not just filtered in the interface.
Does this connect to Clio Grow too?
No, just Clio Manage, the practice-management side of Clio where matters, notes, and tasks live. Clio Grow is a separate intake and CRM product Astrid doesn't integrate with today.
