Every client phone call, on the file
Most of a case happens on the phone. Astrid pulls call recordings from Zoom Phone and Dialpad on its own, and for any other phone, cell or desk line, you dial Astrid in and keep talking.
Three ways a call reaches Astrid
Zoom Phone
Recorded calls on your firm's Zoom Phone lines arrive in Astrid on their own. Nobody presses anything.
Dialpad
Calls on the Dialpad lines you pick, including the Dialpad mobile app, are captured from the recording or from Dialpad's own transcript.
Dial-in for any phone
On a call from your cell or a desk phone? Call Astrid's number, enter the call code, merge it in and Astrid plays the recording notice.
How firms use it
Firms with a receptionist
The dial-in uses a code for each call rather than caller ID, so it works when every attorney's calls show the firm's main number.
Attorneys who call from their cell
Dial Astrid in from the call you are already on. Nothing to install.
Keep your phone system
Astrid works with the phones you have. There is nothing to port and no hardware to buy.
Answers to common questions
Do I have to change phone systems?
No. Astrid connects to Zoom Phone and Dialpad, and the dial-in works with any phone.
How do callers know they are being recorded?
Your firm sets the consent mode for each matter, and the dial-in plays a recording notice once everyone is on the line.
What about calls I make from my phone's own dialer?
Merge Astrid into the call with the dial-in number, or use the Astrid app for iPhone for in-person conversations.
